What Is Motor Club of America?
Motor Club of America sounds like an exclusive club where you showcase your sweet ride and drag race with fellow members. Unfortunately, the club is not as exciting as it sounds, and there are a few important details about this company that you should know about before you sign-up.
Generally speaking, the sole purpose of Motor Club of America is to provide a person with access to a collection of special "on the road" services such as toll pick-ups, insurance, and what not. These services are in themselves not terrible.
When reading this review, keep in mind that the services of Motor Club of America are separate from the affiliate system. The services that this company provides are decent and quite useful. However, I can't say the same for their affiliate system. The affiliate system resembles a multi-level marketing system. Since a lot of people have been raving about how everyone can make "so much money" from this company (and I'm in the business of making money online) let's take a look at this scheme. And since we're here talking about online businesses, we'll primarily focus on that part of the company in this review.
What You Should Know:
The entire idea is to encourage people to become affiliates, recruit new members, and sell more "road side" packages. It's a classic multi-level-marketing system that is based on a team system. In other words, if you recruit a new person, they'll be added under your account, and be they'll be considered a member of your team. Then, the idea is to motivate the team to recruit more people and earn more commission fees.
What will be expected from you?
- To make good money, you will have to sell emergency assistance service packages.
- You will have to familiarize yourself with all the packages that is offered and build knowledge about each service.
- You will have to explain all the services and the benefits in detail to potential customers.
- Enroll customers by using social media, your Motor Club of America website, advertising and so forth.
- Create effective plans and marketing strategies to bring awareness to the services offered.
- You will have to invest for out of pocket expenses like buying a domain, marketing materials and so forth.
- Become a mentor and teach others to market the system successfully.
How Much Does It Cost?
It costs $40 to access the main membership area.
Most advertisements for this company will claim that you'll be able to earn $80 for simply creating an account. There's also a recurring monthly payment of $19.95.
"Pay $40 and Make $80!!"
It seems to be the marching chant of the people who support this product.
There's another one…
You Can Earn 200% Commissions!!!
There should always be a minimum of two exclamation marks behind these statements. Does the product deliver on its promises or does it fall flat like so many other scams out there? Continue reading to find out.
Let's talk about Motor Club of America's lovable features...
MCA boasts a wide range of benefits, and some of them are useful for those who are only interested in buying the services that includes:
· Dental Work
· Prescription Drugs
· Stolen Vehicle Compensation
· Attorney Fees
· Hospital Discounts
· Hotel Discounts
Some members have praised the 24/7 roadside assistance service because it's perfect for situations where you're stranded in the middle of nowhere with a flat tire and no one to rescue you. These guys will drive almost anywhere and toll your car to a garage completely free.

Features That Could Be Improved:
The entire recruitment and affiliate system.
The product claims to make it easy for people to make money online, but that is simply not the case. In fact, I can think of a handful of products that make it much easier for beginners to make money online.
With Motor Club of America, in order to earn a reasonable amount, one will have to harass people on a regular basis, approach people, and sell, and sell, and sell.
Not everyone has the marketers skill set, and it's difficult for those people to continuously promote a product that they rarely use. The point is that if you want to make real cash, then you'll have to market on a daily basis. Not to mention the fact that this company can give up the ghost whenever it feels like it, and take all your hard work down with them.
There's also a problem with the affiliate system. When a client cancels their subscription, they essentially cancel your commission fee as well, so that can be quite discouraging for new members. Unfortunately, most people do cancel their memberships after a few months to seek for cheaper options. Where does that leave you?
Back at square one: promote, promote, and promote some more.
- MCA do not provide a good range of free marketing materials. You will have to use a secondary platform and purchase most of your materials. Most Affiliate companies usually provide these for free and it is included in your membership. Unfortunately, with MCA it is not the case and these can end up costing you big time if you want to promote seriously.
Bottom line, do not expect to make much without spending money. There will be out of pocket expenses that is required to move forward. The MCA marketing website alone will cost you $79,95 for instance and that excludes your advertising costs and the purchase of other marketing materials like business cards, flyers and so forth.
If you are broke, it will be hard to make progress.
- The platform is not available or other countries, Canada and USA only. My apologies to the rest of the world, you will lose out on this one! (Feel free to read my post about Website Development for cash, to avoid leaving disappointed)
- Their prices are not competitive, there are companies like the AAA who offer similar packages for less. No matter how good the service, in this day and age people are constantly looking for better ways to save money and cut on costs.
- Multi level marketing is no picnic. When people hear the term “MLM”, they automatically see the word “scam” right next to it. This makes it hard to promote because you need to literally proof yourself, the products and the entire company just to get someone interested. So yeah, scrap the idea of easy money with Motor Club of America!
Scam or Not?
Motor Club of America is definitely no scam. They do pay their members on time and offers a real service. It's not one of the sleazy companies that take forever to assign affiliate commissions. However, don't be wooed by all the promises that the marketers like to throw around. The truth is that you'll need to work a lot to make some cash. It also doesn't teach you anything about marketing techniques so you're entirely on your own.
Without a trustworthy MCA sponsor, willing to go the extra mile to help you succeed, you will be dead in the water and failure will sit on your doorstep. With any MLM it is CRUCIAL to find the right sponsor otherwise you just end up loosing money and time. Too many sponsors are quick to make promises and they are slow to deliver. I saw many comments coming from sponsors, stating “I cannot hold your hand like a baby”. New online marketers are “babies” and still need guidance. Unfortunately, like with many MLM platforms we do get those “bad sponsors” who only cares about the size of their wallets and neglect their referrals. Thus, if you decide that you do want to give it a go, be sure to look for a sponsor that is active and have a good relationship with his/her referrals.
The company isn't all that bad. I think the roadside insurance is a good feature and perfect for people who live in the countryside and can't get in touch with other similar services. Their services have a good reputation overall and if you are skilled enough to work magic with MLM, it is not a bad choice. Remember, it will take hard work and you will definitely not retire on a beach with a margarita anytime soon.
MLM are mostly made out to be a method of earning huge amounts of money doing not much at all. This is a total lie! Marketing skills are essential in this kind of business. If you are new, you will need a good sponsor that is marketing savvy and have the patience to teach you the ropes.
You must be willing to work hard and long hours. An hour or two a day, will not cut it!
MLM is NOT for introverts that does not like to interact directly with people on a daily basis. If you are not a “people person”, do not waste time or money!
Don’t like cold calling? Stay away! You will have to persuade others to purchase your products and follow up on their progress. Leads do not just “purchase”, they need a lot of encouragement to take the final step and once they did, you will have to persuade them to stay.
Has no patience to deal with difficult people? Yeah, move on.
95% of those who tackle MLM fails! The reasons are obvious. Multi Level Marketing are not as easy and you will need to learn new skills and know how to turn leads into buyers. Once you have paid referrals your job is only half done. After that, your skill to teach others to do the very same thing, will determine just how successful your down-line will be and obviously how much money you will earn.
MLM not for you?
Rest assure, affiliate marking that goes hand in hand with Website development and Content marketing are still the most popular method to earn a decent online income with hard work and dedication...Read More
